How can i prevent aging while im still young?
TennisStar! asked:
Im 15, and I know it sounds TOTALLY ridiculous, but I wouldn’t mind taking a couple small measures right now to stop from aging too quickly. My grandma told me, that if you start when you are young, you wont have to try and stop it when you are older. What should I use, and what do they do? What kind of products?

Create a video blog…instantly.
One thing you can do is get a healthy diet if you don’t already have one (the ideal diet is completely free of processed foods). Get good amounts of sleep, and don’t forget to take off whatever makeup you wear before going to bed.

i would wait at least a year.
the skin on your face and especially around your eyes reaches full maturity at the age of 16. after that, technically, the aging process starts.
the number one thing you can do is wear sunscreen EVERY DAY. even in winter. buy a moisturizer that includes spf in it.

Moisturize.
All you can do!
And a moisturizer with SPF would keep your skin in tip top shape!
Try Aveeno Face Moisturizer with SPF
Put it on every morning and your good to go!

aging
That’s a great idea! I wish I had thought of that when I was 15 (I’m 20 now). You really should start when you’re about 18, making sure that you’re mature, but there’s no reason you can’t do a little bit.
First thing: healthy diet. Drink lots of water and some teas (try decaffeinated). Try green and white teas, they’re filled with antioxidants. Stay away from coffee and soda, and try to find substitutes for meat and dairy products (obviously you don’t have to become vegetarian or vegan, but a lot of those lifestyles are healthier). Make sure you’re getting the proper servings of fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc. every day.
Work out, but wash your face afterwards. Sweat will clog pores and cause breakouts.
When applying make up, don’t tug at your face. Try to keep your face as free as possible to not clog pored and to continue to be healthy.
You may be only 15, but you should still be caring for your face. Make sure you’re doing at least this every day, twice a day: cleanse, tone, moisturize. You might be too young to have a serum (I just don’t think you need one at this age and you’d be putting too much on your face). Also make sure that twice a week you use a gentle scrub/exfoliant to take the dead skin cells off.
The biggest thing on preventing aging: SUNSCREEN! Use at least an SPF 15 every day, whether it’s in your moisturizer, make up, or you apply it separately. Make sure you apply it on your body, even if you’re only going outside for a few minutes. Do not tan, especially in the tanning beds. The sun causes about roughly 90% of our aging. It is healthy for you, but don’t be one of those people who lays out there for hours on end every day. Make sure to wear sunglasses, and a wide-rimmed hat (probably straw). I usually wear a dress as well (a light one) when I go to the pool. Remember: lots of girls our ages think that darker is better, but you’ll be the one laughing in 20, or even in 10 years.
I hope this helps! Message me if you have any questions
