No, if we stop aging and therfore dieing we have to stop reproducing…First they need to find a form of mass sterilization otherwise we will all be 600 years old with 50 kids and 2500 grandchildren and the world will suck because you won’t be able to move an inch without running into someone

why would we do that?
allah made aging a natural process of life
stopping aging would be going against allah, thus making it a sin

Genetic coding is much more complex than people initially realised and there really isn’t just one rouge gene which is responsible for ageing. Besides, if you stop people getting old and dying, what would that do to world populations and the environment? People would have to stop having babies. Death isn’t nice when it happens to those close to you, but without it we’d live in a static society with no new ideas and no real progress. Who wants that?

There is no single gene responsible for aging, and many genes involved are being studied.
The U.S. government is already spending many millions on aging research; an entire institute of the National Institutes of Health, is devoted to it – the National Institute on aging. They fund thousands of research grants.

The government(us) and private researchers are spending billions on stopping the effects of aging-aging. That’s why we have 10s of thousands of medicines on the market.
Should we stop aging altogether? No, not really. Without aging there is not growth. Nature works by mixing up genes and letting evolution work it all out. That’s how we became the dominant species. If you start decrease-or holding steady-the gene pool then we all lose. It might take a few millions years. Also, where you gonna put all those people? Do I still get older mentally? Will I be a 150 yo senile individual with the body of a teenager? Or, do I become a 150 yo mentally sharp guy in a body that I wish would just die? Do I get both? And, there is only so much matter on this planet. The living returning to dust feeds the next generation. It’s all connected in a cycle. Even if you could do this some disease would come along and wipe out a good portion, if not all, of us. Nature likes change and she’s not picky about how she gets it.
